## What is self-hosted AI?

Self-hosted AI means the software your AI works in runs on a server you control, not on a vendor's servers. Your records, your AI agents' work and the code stay on that server.

## How is self-hosted AI different from SaaS?

Most business software is rented: it runs on the vendor's servers, holds your data there, and stops when you stop paying. Self-hosted turns that around:

- **Your data** lives on a server of your own.
- **The vendor** can't switch it off.
- **If the vendor goes away,** the software keeps running for you.

## Is self-hosted AI right for a small business?

It is a good fit for:

- **Data in one place you control.** You want your customers, conversations and records there, not spread across apps.
- **Fewer subscriptions.** You're tired of adding one, and one more silo of data, for every new AI tool.
- **AI agents doing real work.** You want them working on your own records, with people approving what goes out.

## Does my data leave my server?

Your records stay on it.
