## What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is AI that does a job on its own, instead of only answering questions.

- **A chatbot** answers a question.
- **An AI assistant** helps you while you work.
- **An AI agent** (some call it an AI employee) does a job on its own time, on your business's records, and hands you the result.

The difference is the job.

## What is an AI business system?

An AI business system is the place where a company's AI agents and its people do the work together. It holds:

- one set of business records
- a sign-in for each person
- permissions for each agent
- a log of every action
- rules about what goes out

## What's the difference between an AI agent and an AI business system?
